Giveaways

We were contacted a few weeks ago with an offer to receive some items from Merial to see what we thought about them. We said sure. We like free stuff :)
Well we were sent two of both of the items and so we are going to give stuff away.
The first item we got is The Merck/Merial Manual for Pet Health.

Mom says this is a really nice book that covers many animals and things about them. The dog section has dog basics such as routine care, behavior, and a section on disorders and diseases that is almost 300 pages by itself. There is a section on stupid cats. It also covers birds,fish, rats, rabbits and potbellied pigs among others. Mom was excited to see turtles in there.
It also has a section called Special subjects that covers emergencies, diagnostic test, drugs and vaccines, and poisoning plus others. We are happy to have one of these to give away. We are sorry to say we can only send the book within the United States as it is very large.

We also received these lovely collars.

It is a Paws to Save pets collar and if you purchase one of them the proceeds go to the petfinder.com foundation and the American Veterinary Medical Foundation. It isn't a very good picture but the blue ribbon is actually a collar. :)
Please go check out the website here. We had never heard about what Merial is doing and we think it is great. You can purchase a collar there also if you would like. We are going to give away both of the collars we received. Any of our friends from anywhere can go into the drawing for the collars. We have the large sizes to give away which are 12" to 22". We know that won't fit some of you.
