We are fine

We got wind and rain but that's it. We never even lost power. It's still raining and supposed to for a few days. Plus we have to watch for tornadoes. Though I tell you guys that having to go out and pee when the wind is trying to knock you over isn't to fun.

We hope Ike and Josephine go away and that Hanna doesn't hurt the east coast to badly.

Our thoughts go out to anyone who lost their homes or loved ones.

  12. We're glad you're all okay! Hannah is coming to visit us this weekend. That won't be fun because I like to lie outside and I won't be able to cause it'll be too windy for our ahhhhning to be left out. Hrrrmph.

  14. Oh my dogness! I didn't realize you guys were so close to the hurricane! It was probably a good thing I didn't know or I would have been worried sick. I'm glad you guys are okay.
Reading the part about having to pee in the wind made me laugh. If we had that bad of wind, we'd have to tie bricks on Sasha for her to go out and do her business. lol That's an even funnier picture.
Anyway, I'm gld you're doing okay and thanks for voting for my picture. I really hope I win! Your Mom isn't too crazy if she owns a Jeep! My Mom ownes a Kia! She's the crazy one! We try not to make too much fun of her though. She bought it before she met Dad and before she knew the greatness of Jeeps. She says after all the trouble she had with previous cars, she doesn't care what people say about her Kia it hasn't left her stranded on the side of the road like all of her previous vehicles did.

  17. I love your blog! I am also a fellow four-legged friend lover and have two kitties of my own, Mocha and Furball. As I was browsing through the Internet and reading through a bunch of pet blogs, I stumbled upon yours. After going through a lot of entries on your site, I can sense a mutual genuine adoration we have for our animals.

I am a huge enthusiast of making sure our pets receive the care they need and deserve. I am lucky enough to be working with LocalVets.com because it has allowed me to pursue this very passion.
Our core value is to connect pets in need with veterinarians who care. We currently work with over 2,000 vets across the country from large organizations like Banfield to one doctor locations. We even work with professional veterinary associations such as VHMA, http://www.vhma.org/displaycommon.cfm?an=1&subarticlenbr=266.

I have found LocalVets.com to be a great resource for pet owners like us to use when seeking the closest and most suitable veterinarian in their neighborhood. As you probably have had experiences with vet visits, you know first hand how dreadful it can be for your pet and even you. However, it is inevitable both because we want to keep our pets healthy and because of emergency situations.

There are not enough pet owners who provide their pets with the recommended veterinary visits of twice a year, especially for cats with an average of less than one visit a year. LocalVets.com can provide a directory that will be extremely helpful and effective for the pet owner in locating a veterinarian in their vicinity who can help them with their pet’s necessary treatment.

Let me know if you have a few minutes to discuss an opportunity to include a link in your blog.

    Thanks!

    Yours Truly,

    Pearl

  31. Mommy has been glued to the tv since this hurricane business started. She said to daddy and my kids "well now it is time for the tornadoes"! :(( She hates the gulf weather and worries for all her friends that live there. That means all of YOU! We are so happy you are all ok. We pray for the big safety net around you all.
