A Grammie among other things

Hey eveybody it's me Flash. Yep it's Friday and I am back. I know you are all so excited to hear from me.

I want to point out that I think Peanut is a whiner about the size of the yard. I mean yeah it isn't huge but please if he didn't have freakishly long legs the yard size wouldn't be a problem I don't think.
Oh and it's his 4th birthday next week. I am trying to figure out what I am going to do for him. So any ideas would be good. I thought maybe I just wouldn't make fun of him for the day. That seems like a good present don't you think? Now in all seriousness I do love Peanut but geez he's the one always doing stupid stuff like the flour thing and getting in trouble.
Okay since Peanut's been filling you all in on what's been going on here there isn't much else to say but to no further ado here is the picture of our Grammie. This was taken by our girl while she spent the day with Grammie helping her watch our Uncle Sean's girls. Oh and we've also included a picture of our Auntie Shalon that our girl also took. We love you Grammie and Auntie Shalon. You are the best.

  1. PEAAAAAAAAAANUT & FLASH! Good timing--check out my blog! Your Grammie is so awesome. But then I wouldn't expect anything less from Peanut and his awesome family! Please pass along my thanks to your Grammie! Your Aunt looks like one cool Auntie!

ps. Your Grammie doesn't look old enough to be a Grammie!

  2. Yay!!! a picture of Grammie - woo hoo!!! So nice to see her in pawson...well kinda. Have a great weekend and I'll try and think of something fun for Peanut for you. And NO...making fun of him IS NOT NICE!!!

    Lots of Licks, Ruby

  3. Your grammie doesn't look old enough to be a grammie and I'm not sure your aunt wanted her picture taken! hehehehe
We think that you should treat Peanut to an ice cream cone, Flash! I bet he would like that!

    Love ya lots,
    Maggie and Mitch

  4. IT'S GRAMMIE!!! She's beautiful! :-) I wish I could stick my tongue up her nose and tell her how great she is. Maybe you can do it for me...?

  5. hey Flasharoonie, I'm sure it's tons of work keeping Peanut and the crew in line. For his birthday, you should get a prezzie too.

Your grammie looks super young for a grammie. My grammie is super old, but then so is my mom. She's so ancient she could probably croak any second. But hopefully she will take me out for a run first.

  6. Hi, Flash
Its very nice to hear you again! Your Grammie looks pretty young!
I hope you all will have a great weekend!

  7. Someone had better warn your aunty that if the wind changes, she'll stay like that!

    Toodle pip,
    Harry x

  8. Gads, a picture is posted. I must have been asleep when the girl took it. Tad could lose his whole tongue in that nose. Something is wrong with Auntie's tongue.

  9. Hi Peanut,
Nice to see you Grammie after reading so many great stories about her.
    Jazz and Dixie

  10. ooooh you have a Glamourous Grammie, Flash!

I am a bit scared of your Auntie though!

I love your Grammie, my only one is too far away to lick!

    love and licks, Marvin xxxxxxx

  11. I bet your Auntie is really going to appreciate that you posted that picture of her for the whole internet. I bet she will give you lots of treats for that!

  12. We put a link to your blog at
I hope you don't mind! Would you please put a link to our blog on your site? We would really appreciate it! Thank you! Darwin and Stella!

  13. your grammie is a young grammie! glad you back, Flash!

  14. phwah, so many burpdays in your household this month! i think flour is the way to celebrate!

ps: i hope peanut will get something edible for his burpday, rather than some "practical" nonsense like mine!

  15. hi all! thanks for coming by the blog again - i LOVE all my visitors, makes me feel welcome! btw - i saw the pics from the whole being out of the kennel incident - mommy laughed b/c she knew it was something i would totally do (whatever!!!). ;) hope all is well, stop by again...

    2 barks,

  16. We agree, grammie looks WAY TOO YOUNG to be a grammie! But, it's nice to see you grammie :)

P.S. Love the flour pictures. It makes us feel like we aren't the only naughty ones. Way to go!!!

  17. You are very good allowing photos of humans on your blog.

    Simba xx

  18. Flasher Flash!

Thanks for revealing the face of Grammie (and Auntie Shalon). That is the BEST grammie face I've ever seen. (I will be printing this photo for the little shrine I've set up in my yard to Grammie).

Auntie Shalon looks just like Grammie, except somedog should tell her there's something wrong with her mouth. Is she as cool as Grammie? (I'm trying to see how many times I can say Grammie in this one little comment).

Next time you see them, please give the juiciest goober smooches to them for me, okay? And, thanks for lending your Grammie out to needy dogs like WAlly & I. We love you guys and your Grammie!

    Goober love,

    Pee Ess
I'll think about birthday plans for Peanut.

  19. Hey Flash!

Are you sure that's Grammie? She looks WAY TOO YOUNG to be a Grammie...are you just messing around & posted a pic of someone else to conceal the TRUE IDENITY OF THE GREAT (as in wonderful, not ancient) GRAMMIE?

& your Auntie loooks fun too..always wanting to play..just a few more inches & she'll have a nice snaggle tooth picture!

    Love & Licks,

ps..Tell Peanut I'm still at camp & doing well..playing ball & not being too bossy.

  20. Hey Peanut, I love your blog, I have given you an award today, please check out my blog. (Your Grammie is fandabidozi!)
